The idea began back in the fall of 2016. Through some reflective analysis over a 3 year period, the cognitive side of player education was something Ellis felt needed more of a presence within youth soccer. In early 2017, the first educational pieces of the SoccerIQ philosophy were shared with 60 players from ages 10-15.. Since then, the SoccerIQ connection has grown at pace. With a strong social media presence, and an ambitious group of Coaches at the heart of our work, we hope our journey of sharing soccer educational ideas will help positively impact the youth of today, how to play tomorrow.
